I haven't figured out how to tell exactly which OZ600xxx model I have, nor am I 1000% certain exactly which driver update to install should I want to try that (Dell has at least two of them that are said to be compatible with the M4600, and I got my laptop from a refurbisher so I don't have a service tag and can't do a scan to get the exact drivers). The drivers I found on the Dell site for this device were generally the same for Win7 and Win8.

I realize the original post is 5 years old and was about Windows 8, but you never know what may help someone else. But at present it cannot read SDXC cards. My Dell M4600 running 64-bit Windows 7 can read SDHC cards just fine using the built-in O2Micro card reader.
